Da Fresh followed the traditional path of a young man who grew up in the eighties. Born in a small french provincial town in a middle class family of music lovers, Arnaud (his real surname) quickly combined a passion for music with a taste for computers and machines. He was influenced by bands such as The Cure, Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, and Anne Clark, to name just some. In the nineties, while he was studying in art school, he was heavily affected by the sounds coming out of France. Fascinated by Daft Punk’s “Homework” or Motorbass’s “Pansoul”, Arnaud realized he had to be a part of this movement. It is under the name ‘Da Fresh’ that he began his journey. Determined and hard working, he released the album “Supa Feeling” in 2002 on the Lyon based label, Weaked Records, which included the hit “Fuckin Track”… This tune went on to become a classic and launched Da Fresh onto the international electronic music scene. Balancing DJing and production became Arnaud’s life. And now the biggest electronic music artists in the world, including Solomun or Laurent Garnier, support his music. Signed to many labels such as Toolroom, Steyoyoke, Armada, 1605, Area Verde, Freegrant Music, Suara, CR2, Spinnin, Deeperfect, Bitten, Happy Techno, 303Lovers… It is clear that Da Fresh has left his mark on the international scene and will continue to do it.
